NEW YORK, January 3, 2008 — Marsh, the world's leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced changes to its global organizational structure as well as several senior management appointments. "Simplifying the current structure will enable Marsh to reduce complexity and improve efficiencies within the organization," said Daniel S. Glaser, chief executive officer of Marsh, who joined the firm last month. Key components of the reorganization are:

He worked at Marsh for more than 18 years (1976-1994) and led the global Utility Industry Practice. His most recent position in the industry was with Willis Group Holdings, where he was Chairman of Willis Risk Solutions, the major accounts practice in North America, from 2001 to 2004. Previously, he served as Chief Executive of Willis International Holdings in London. Mr. McSweeny has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the Business Division at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, N.Y. since 2005. Sandy Vietor also began his career at Marsh, where he served in various capacities for more than 16 years including as head of Marine & Energy. Most recently, he was Executive Vice President of Aon Risk Services Americas. Prior to that, Sandy was Executive Vice President of Willis North America.
